Bobrisky's 28th birthday party might not hold again today August 31st as policemen have shutdown the venue of the party scheduled to hold at an event center in Lekki. Police officers in various operational vehicles, stormed the venue and cordonned off the area this evening as the much talked about party was about to kick off. This development comes two days after Bobrisky dragged Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, who last week, said he is a National disgrace and will soon be dealt with by the government if caught on the street. Justin Bieber on Wednesday August 28, led the worship service at Churchome in Beverly Hills where he has been a member for years.  TMZ reported that the Church's Pastor, Judah Smith told the congregation that it was time for Bieber to help lead the flock in song after years of being a worshipper. Coming up to lead the worship session with the Church band which many have expected for long, the 25-year-old Canadian singer who has been open about his faith said he had considered singing during service but hesitated because he didn’t want it to look like he was putting up a show. Google on Wednesday, August 28 revealed that Mercy, Tacha, Mike, Ike and Seyi were the most searched Big Brother Naija Season 4 contestants on the Google search.   This was contained in a statement by Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, Google West Africa Regional Communication and Public Relations Manager.   Juventus is now third most-followed football club on Instagram after seeing a rise of 20 million followers following the arrival of former Real Madrid striker, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar joined the Italian club in 2018 when they were just on 10 million, but now they have witnessed a rapid increase including surpassing his former club, Manchester United.  Juventus now has 31.1m followers on Instagram, while Manchester United boasts of 31m followers.  Real Madrid still leads the way as the most popular football club on Instagram with 77.6 million followers, while Barcelona maintains the second spot with 76.4m followers. 

Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri, still recovering from a bout of pneumonia, could yet be passed fit to make his debut for the Turin side when they face his former club Napoli in Serie A on Saturday. According to photographs published by Italian media on Wednesday, the 60-year-old is both backs on the training ground and, possibly, smoking cigarettes again as he recovers from the illness which sidelined him earlier this month. Sarri, who missed last week’s opening match at Parma but has been in constant touch with his players throughout, was widely reported to have watched practice on the touchline on Wednesday. The Corriere Della Sera also published a selfie taken by a young fan standing next to Sarri who was holding a packet of cigarettes in his hand. A thief in Guinea who goes by the name,  Boubacar Diallo  congratulated the police for catching him in a video that is going viral on social media in the country. Diallo , a student at a technical college in Mamou, and his accomplice freely admitted having stolen 50m Guinean francs ($5,600; £4,160) from a phone shop in the northwestern city. In front of the cameras, Diallo called for more resources to be given to the police. In his words, 'the national police head office should be congratulated. I also want to say that the police needs equipment because it has well-trained officers'. Then, he added that he never imagined that he would be caught so quickly and said he regretted his crime. see video below:

  The Federal Government Wednesday said that it was discovered that the headquarters of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is France with some foreign countries funding the group. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed who disclosed this to State House correspondents at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja, said President Muhammadu Buhari has already approved the process for proscription of IPOB. He said that IPOB is a contraption against the administration of President Buhari and that the group is being sponsored by some foreign countries.   The Commissioner of Police in Lagos state, Edgal Imohimi who assumed the post of commissioner on the 31/08/2017, on Tuesday September 19th, rescued the couple pictured above from a ritualist shrine in Ikorodu in Lagos state. The couple had reportedly gone to the town for spiritual help but on getting to the shrine, they met with the owner, Adedeji James, who planned to use them for ritual purposes. Acting on a tipoff, the state police commissioner stormed the shrine and rescued the couple. The discovery necessitated yesterday's demolition of three shrines in the area. See more photos below
